Offshore Seismic Surveys, Inc. (OSSI), a part of the Offshore International Group of companies, is involved in marine seismic exploration. OSSI's seismic vessel, the M/V Gulf Supplier is capable of both 2D and 3D seismic acquisition. Already having interests in the oilfield services industry, the M/V Gulf Supplier provides a broader range of services to its clients. OSSI has been working offshore Peru since late 2004, providing seismic acquisition services exclusively for Petro-Tech Peruana, SA.

The M/V Gulf Supplier with its 3D, triple streamer shallow water capabilities and state of the art seismic acquisition equipment can cover larger areas in shorted periods of time. With large vessels unable to shoot in shallow water areas and the other alternative being Ocean Bottom Cable. OSSI and the Gulf Supplier hope to fill the gaps between the two with a large cost reduction and a quicker turnaround of high quality seismic data. The company has assembled a team of industry experts to implement state of the art 2D and 3D marine seismic acquisition.
